Bodybuilding
Phil Heath
The current Mr. Olympia, Phil Heath's interest in bodybuilding began shortly after playing college basketball at the University of Denver in 2002. He had a few friends that were competing locally and once he realized how bodybuilding enabled them to transform from the average guy into true mass monsters his interest in the sport grew. The spark that pushed Phil towards competing in his first show occurred when he went to his second local amateur show and met an IFBB Pro. After reading through numerous muscle magazines, along with having great friends that were very into bodybuilding, Phil was influenced into participating in a show. Phil's biggest reason for competing was to see how his body could transform with hard training and sound nutrition.
Jonnie Jackson
Few men possess the discipline, intensity and focused mindset that can rival the pound-for-pound world's strongest bodybuilder, Johnnie Jackson. Whether it was the time he spent in the armed forces or an inherent biological drive to compete, Johnnie is a living embodiment of what bodybuilding is all about - unearthly strength and symmetrical layers of dense striated muscle in massive proportions. Few bodybuilder's can keep up with Johnnie's torturous training sessions! Just take a look in his profile to get an understanding of what hardcore is really about!
Branch Warren
Branch "The Texas Titan" Warren was born February 28, 1975 in Tyler, Texas. He got his start in bodybuilding early when he took to the stage in 1992 – still a highschool freshman – winning the AAU Teenage Mr. America competition. Today, Branch Warren is one of bodybuilding’s top pros. This Texas Titan continues to push his world-class physique to new heights. The words “thick,” “grainy” and “vascular” all describe the larger-than-life structure that has become Branch Warren – earning him respect from fans and competitors alike. And, this year, the 2011 Arnold Classic proved to be another pivotal contest for Branch’s pro career as he earned himself a first place win amidst a heavily muscled pro line-up.
MMA
Todd Duffee
Todd Duffee grew up in the small town of Raleigh, IL which had a population of just over 350 people. From a young age, he played any sport his parents could get him into and soon discovered his intense passion for basketball. The challenge of competing in basketball coupled with the mentoring of his coach in the fifth grade, showed Todd the work ethic it took to perform as an athlete. Once Todd reached high school, his life consistently revolved around sports – the next season, next game, or next practice. During his college football career, Todd suffered an undisclosed injury that caused him to lose his scholarship. While rehabbing his injury and planning on making a return to football, Todd discovered what would be his true calling in life – the world of mixed martial arts.
Luke Harris
I really respect all fighters who fight hard and leave everything behind in the cage. In that sense, I won't win every fight, but I feel like I have the ability to always put on a great performance. I hope to be remembered in the sport as someone who's contributed to it. I love teaching and training with people who are eager to learn. I have a true passion for MMA and take a sort of Japanese philosophical approach to it. Some of my other goals include winning the World Championships in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & continuing to compete in Judo. I would like to thank Team MuscleTech for their continued support. Nutrition is a huge factor in my success & sponsorship is important to help me reach my goals.
