Perth Wild Cats
The Perth Wildcats are the most successful team in the Australian Professional Basketball League (NBL) having achieved five championships the most recent in the 2009/10 season! They have appeared in the NBL finals for 25 straight seasons, an accomplishment matched by no other NBL club. The Wildcats are the only team in the league representing the state of Western Australia and are based in Perth. With Star players like Kevin Lisch (2009/10 Finals MVP), the Wildcats are on track for more finals and silverware in 2011/12!
Kevin Lisch
Known for his defensive toughness and being the MVP in the 2009/10 NBL finals, Kevin Lisch remains the NBL’s most influential “imports”. Currently playing for the Perth Wildcats, Kevin not only comes from a family of sports stars (his father was a former NFL quarterback, who also played college football with Joe Montana) but has a long list of achievements to make any elite stars trophy cabinet over crowded including Larry Sengstock Medal for being the Grand Final MVP 2009/10 and Club co-MVP for season 2010/11.
